No. Feng Shui is not tied to any type of religion. All Feng Shui principles and theories are derived from the I-Ching, "the book of changes", which conveys universal wisdom and truth.

For centuries, Feng Shui has been kept secret from the Chinese ruling class; it was used almost exclusively by emperors. The study and practice of Feng Shui was therefore not open to the public.
